To the "About Us" pages of PTWP. These pages are dedicated to sharing information about the members of PTWP. Without getting too personal, we want to tell you a little bit about the people who have helped to keep the vision of PTWP moving forward. This is Shadow Lion's bio:
Shadow Lion joined PRANCE back in 2000, and has been with us ever since. She is a High Priestess and Witch. She is 48, a Pharmacy Technician, living in Lynn, Mass. This makes her the HPs of the longest time within this group. Her encouragement and enthusiasm for the group is beyond words. We can always count on her to express her views on anything that may have some impact on the group. Her service and expertise in ritual are a boon to PTWP. She brought Aequinoctriun to PRANCE, and their Mabon celebrations are always a great time. Mabon is their choice of sabbats to lead the ceremony.
These are her words; " I've wanted to be a Witch since I was 13. At first, I thought it was just a phase that I was going through. As the years passed, however, the interest never went away. I did a lot of practicing, reading, and studying on my own. Never really having any formal training until I was 31. Taking my first real Witchcraft class in 1990. It was a beginners class, and when the classes ended, the group stayed together as a coven. I had to leave the coven due to a family crisis. The coven disbanded shortly after that. Once again, I was solitary. Luckily, at the time, Salem had a lot of public Sabbat circles going on. So, I attended a few of these whenever I could. It wasn't enough, however, I wanted to learn more. Book knowledge just wasn't enough, I wanted to learn more and share with others on a deeper, more spiritual level. I found myself wondering if the right teacher would ever come along. One day, while walking through downtown Salem, I saw an ad for a circle hosted by Marie and Tony. I had no idea who they were, but a friend of mine did. He told me that I wouldn't be disappointed if I did go. Taking his advice I went and enjoyed the energy of the circle. Marie and Tony were warm, welcoming, and wonderful. (and still are) They make everybody feel so at ease, no hierarchy stuff. I decided to keep going to their circles and when they offered classes I jumped at the opportunity. My search was over, that was 8 years ago.
Shadow Lion has brought many things to this group, including one of our other High Priest's. One of her wonderful talents is her sabbat cakes. Her dedication to the group has added to the positive energy flow. Her knowledge of crystals and her affinity for them is contagious, Tia and I both share this attribute with her. She was initiated High Priestess in November 2005, and has continued with PTWP. As an Elder of this group, along with Willow and the others, they help to motivate me to keep this group moving forward. They have made Tia and I proud of what we have accomplished over the years. We are forever in the service of the Lord and the Lady. In love and light.
