6/21/2008This page is dedicated to finding out about the people behind PTWP. Without getting too personal or too involved in private lives, we will take some time to tell you a little bit about ourselves. These are the members of the group who have been through each part of this journey; PRANCE; and The Witches Path; and now Prance The Witches Path. Each and every one of them has witnessed the transformations from the beginnings to the final visions of these journeys. These are the people that Tia and I consider to be the center of this group, they are, along side us, the Elders of PTWP. Without each and everyone of them, we could not have achieved all that we did. There were others along the way, who were also instrumental in this vision. However, these on this page are our core group and key members who will work with those who join us on this journey. We look forward to their continued efforts within this group structure and welcome those who wish to share in this journey with us. We are forever in their service, the service of the Lord and the Lady. In love and light.

About Gwaine......
Gwaine, is a semi-magical name I've chosen because of my affinity for the Arthurian legends. My spiritual journey has directed me in this direction for whatever reason, and I have enjoyed this union. In the time that I have been delving into these legends, I have come to realize that there are many similarities to today, even though they are of old. My journey into the Craft began back in 1989. I was introduced to it, by my oldest daughter (who, for the sake of her privacy, shall remain nameless. Although most people know who she is.) in the craziest way. She had been into it for quite a while and I found it to be very interesting after first questioning it. Yeah, I did take the usual stereotypical stand on it in the beginning. And she, of course took alot of guff for it. Spirituality was not one of my first priorities in life, it actually took a back seat for quite awhile. There was the usual searching that comes along with raising a family. After all, as parents we need to fulfill all aspects of their lives, even the spiritual ones. As a family unit we went several different paths, each one more humorous than the last. It's funny how we always have to seem to be in control. One of our first connections in the Craft, was our first teacher, (he preferred to call himself the navigator) Lord White Hart of the Coombs. It was his "navigating" that inspired our ritual technique. (Even to this day) The next leg of this journey brought us to the Cabot tradition and this stretch actually launched us into another cosmos. This particular part of our journey took us on more ups and downs than the worlds biggest roller-coaster. It brought us notoriety, yet, it was still not what we were looking for. Our time with the Cabot tradition had several satisfying years, but in the end, I found no spirituality within the Cabot tradition. The Elder of that tradition and I cannot come to a common ground with each other. Try as I did to stay involved, she always found a way to drive me away. She did help me to learn a few very valuable lessons, too. They may not have been very nice ones, but they did teach me some important things. Every lesson that you learn from, whether, it's good or bad, has a value to it. Even the bad times can strengthen you and if it is something that prevents you from making the same mistake again, it was worth it. This would be the final story-line for the Cabot tradition. I do not acknowledge myself as a High Priest of that tradition. I am a Reverend High Priest, and always will be recognized as such. However, I can tell you that I have worked hard to attain this goal. And those who truly know me, know this to be true. The Craft is my spiritual path and way of life. As I've written several times in blogs, "Knowledge and wisdom are something that you cannot take away from another". (They may prove themselves unknowing and unwise, but someone else cannot strip that away from them.) Learning is something that I enjoy doing, and I learn as much from others as I share with them. As a teacher, I have found that everyone has the potential to bring something of value to the table.
I was born in Somerville, Massachusetts in November 1952. A Scorpio with a Taurus Moon, and Aries rising. My interests range from music and sports; to the Craft and other spiritual ways, as well. I enjoy learning and exploring the many different cultures, from Native American to Buddhism, and others in between. I work in the building supply industry for a company that I have worked for over the past 10 years as a hoisting engineer (crane operator). My other line of work which I do part-time sometime is hairdressing. I am a licensed hairdresser and have been for over 30 years. Unfortunately, I developed allergies to working with the chemicals in my salon long ago and had to take another career. That is actually how Tia and I met, 30 years ago, this year. Yes, this year will mark 30 years together. We met in 1978, our first meeting being on Friday the 13th of July, 1978. We went out on our first date on Sunday the 15th. We have built our lives together and have managed to overcome many obstacles in our lives which have made this journey an interesting one. If you ask me, or others who know us, we are as opposite as can be. We are, however, a team effort that compliment each other in every sense of the word. The Craft has helped me to become a better, more confident person. The fact that a good portion of my life, women have been the influences in my life helped me to be more in touch with myself. One of my biggest achievements in my life is my family. My wife and children, and grandchildren are my pride and joy. I have learned alot about myself being a parent! I love animals and all things in nature, but my totem animal is the wolf. Wolf Hollow in Ipswich, Ma.is a very special place for me, and everytime I get to go up there is great. Being a part of Wolf Hollow is another source of pride for me, as well. To be able to interact with these magnificent animals is as good as it gets. The other aspect of my life as a major achievement is our groups, from PRANCE to The Witches Path, to Prance The Witches Path. These are very important in defining who I am and what I practice. This is what makes me happy, it is how I have attained the balance in my life that has brought me to a place that is good. I am forever in the service of the Lord and the Lady. In love and light.
