To "Tia's Page" of the PTWP web-site. These are the pages where I will sound off about the things on my mind, and add my poetry, as well. Gwaine's not the only one who has the gift of rhyme. LOL. (I've had my fair share of inspiration, and will give him a run for the money.:)...)This next piece was written for our upcoming Samhain ritual, and Gwaine did give it a title, it's called; "Samhain Journey- Spirit and Soul" of course it's appropriately titled.....so, here it is....
" In the darkness we do journey on the eve of winter's first night.
We gather together, reflecting, by the flickering candlelight.
Frost is on the pumpkin and a chill is in the air,
family and friends gather, as the final harvest we share.
Together we tell our stories of ancestors, young and old,
some bring tears, some laughter, each with a tale to be told.
As the darkness surrounds us, we remember them in silence, and then,
we feel a presence and know they have joined us once again.
The veil has been parted, Spirit and form, rejoice,
listen carefully now, can you hear your ancestor's voice?
Savor their essence and guidance, divine intervention, and love,
honor them, and thank them, for all they have done and will do-
remember,they are never far, and live on in a part of you.
Ever in your heart and mind, they shall remain...
til next Samhain night when Spirit and Soul join again....."
