9/7/2009Merry Meet and Welcome;
To the "Our Thoughts" pages of PTWP. Today is Monday September 7th, 2009, Labor Day. It's kind of funny, today is a holiday, yet it's "Labor Day". (There I go again trying my hand at a little humor) The Moon is third quarter, waning in Aries. Mercury is retrograde. It's the Celtic tree month of Vine, and Mabon, the second harvest, is right around the corner. Fall will be here before you know it, and Samhain!!! You can feel it in the air, the nights are getting cooler, the sun is setting earlier, and there's a chill in the morning when I leave for work. There's alot going on within the cosmos, planetary wise. You can feel the shifts in the energy flows. Even with this, these shifts seem to be heading in the right direction.
As we draw nearer to the end of our first class, our thoughts have shifted to the future. This was a truly magical journey. Not only was this our maiden voyage teaching down here, it was also a community-building venture. The overwhelming concensus was that we have managed to begin something very special. Networking has always been a major part of what PTWP is all about, and this is the message we try to bring in our teachings. Building community, however, is not always an easy task. Nothing worthwhile, ever comes easy. As human-beings, we always seem to take for granted anything we get that we didn't have to work for. Strange as it may seem. Coming together for a common-good takes alot of hard work, sacrifices, and sharing to make it work. That includes sharing the bad times, as well as the good times. The other night, Wendy Rule talked a little bit about that in her concert, and I was able to relate to what she was talking about. So many times, you need to sit back, and bite your tongue, as you allow someone else to bask in the limelight. It's always important to remember that building community is a team effort, not a solo project. Giving credit where it is due, as well as giving back, and giving thanks, are some of the ingredients to achieving your goal. We have always said this at PTWP, PRANCE began with two people, but it was the joint effort of many, that made it all possible.
As we look back, and work towards the next leg of this journey, we are always amazed at what we have managed to accomplish. Seeing all of the people we have met, and all of the events that have come into fruition, watching them grow from a thought-form. It never ceases to amaze me what we are able to achieve, as a "community". We look forward to another year here at PTWP, and want to say thank you to all of you who helped make this past year the success that it was!!! We are forever in the service of the Lord and the Lady. In love and light.
