Prance The Witches Path (PTWP) began the third leg of this magical journey in 2008. The first official event we sponsored was Litha at the Salem Willows, June of 2008. We have been an active group, however, since 1996. Prance was the foundation of this group, which came into fruition, Ostara, that year. In April, Prance took flight with the re-creation of the Salem Witch Village. A joint venture, with our eldest daughter, who was also instrumental in our finding this spiritual path and way of life, known as the Craft. This began our journey that has taken us to where we are today, PTWP. It has been an interesting 13 year voyage that has taken us to a whole new level of thinking. The spiritual rewards we have been blessed with, far outweigh the work that it takes us to continue this quest. Thirteen, is my number, being a Scorpio, the Death card of the major arcana. Like the phoenix, that rises from the ashes, that is how this journey has played out through the years. Our rebirth, in 2008, however, blessed us with a renewed sense of accomplishment. PTWP, became the spiritual journey for this group.
PRANCE THE WITCHES PATH, is; the, Pagan Resource And Networking Council Educated Through Human Experience Working Independently To Create Harmony Embracing Spirituality Pagans Aagainst Teaching Hate. This is not only our name, it is our mission statement, and our vision, as well. We have endured over the years, and through these experiences, we have grown spiritually. Being able to share this with others, and doing the Great Work, is what we were meant to do. Our service to the Lord and the Lady has been bountiful and filled with many blessings. This year, our thirteenth year, in this service, PTWP, is opening up membership to this journey. The work is tedious, the sacrifices, at times, are understated, but the rewards, in the end are immeasurable.
Membership to PTWP is $30.00 per year. The membership package will allow you discounts to any PTWP events. Members of PTWP will be given first preference to any and all PTWP classes and workshops put on by this group. With your membership, you will receive a copy of our informative brochure, entitled; "What do you really know about Witchcraft?". This is an informational pamphlet that was created by Lady Tisiphone and Lady Selene. It became an educational material packet adopted by the Wiccan Church of Canada, and PRANCE . Your membership to PTWP helps us to do the work that we have done for years. The package will also include your sponsorship card which will allow you to utilize the discounted admissions to all of our events. It will also feature a free subscription to our first newsletter, currently planned for distribution around Litha, 2009. The second one scheduled to be featured at Yule of this year. These are some of the benefits to becoming a part of PTWP, the most important one being, the continued work we do here, in service to the greater good, in service to the Lord and the Lady. It is a labor of love, as we said before, one that we hope to be able to continue.

Around Ostara of this year we will be starting several new activities. In April, we will be offering a new class, that has been extremely informative for those who have taken it. This year, we have planned several other events that will be posted very soon. Your membership fees help us to keep all of these things happening. Your membership will include an opportunity to become active within the group in the organizing, planning and putting on our events. How much you can participate is based entirely on how much you can offer. To experience the actual excitement of planning an event and then seeing it manifest, is somewhat rewarding. Those who have had this opportunity know first-hand the energies that are experienced. It is an amazing thing!
