2/5/2009As we here at PTWP celebrate Imbolc we all enjoy preparing for the sabbat and what it means to us. Here our my thoughts I decided to write.....
Beautiful Goddess On This Night
Our homes are adorned with candlelight
We clean our homes with thoughts of Spring
Visions of the changes that your blessings will bring
Hearths have been swept, we are protected and blessed
Having done our work we now are prepared for the rest
Birds return and sing sweet song
Evergreens we gathered in Winter now are gone
For Goddess of poetry, smithing and birth
Tonight we begin to wake Mother Earth!
Candlelight flickers in the dark of the night
Stirring, summoning and calling rebirth and light
We gather together and join in the circle round
Dancing and chanting our energy awakens the ground
Goddess of knowledge , inspiration and birth
We honor you and ask for the blessing of Earth
Fertility, abundance, new life, joy and mirth
We give thanks for your presence and to this we say
Merry Meet Merry Part and Merry Meet Again Another Day!
