Fire Opals are very mystical and beautiful. They can be found in some local shops but are not as easily available as some other stones. When you find one you cannot help but become entranced by it's opulance and fire! The glow and array of colors are like flames of endless passion and desire!
Their color is bright orange with a tinge of brown. When you look thru it's opulance you see the fire within containing many different hues of color. There are some stones that are tumbled and faceted. These stones are one color orange. The stones that are still in the matrix are the ones that display the brillance of color contained within them. Both types of this stone are beautiful but my favorite is in the matrix.
Fire Opals are a stone of hope. They are revitalizing and stimulate one's internal fires. The Fire Opal is also worn for protection. With it's symbolisim of passion, it makes for a fierce protector of it's owner. During stressful times the energy of this beautiful stone resonates and aids in letting go of the past and moving forward.
Fire Opals are also good for business projections, money and progress. This stones beauty and attributes make it very desirable and a wonderful addition to your magickal jewelry!
Fire Opals are associated with the astrological signs of Cancer, Leo, Libra and Saggitarius.
Since we are still new to the area in which we now live, we are always discovering new magickal shops. We happened upon Open Doors, which is not too far from our home. We really liked the store and the people who work there. It is an awesome place! Lots to see and do. A great variety of everything and for every spiritual path. The store is large and very inviting. We spent some time in there just looking at all there is to see. Before we left I had found a beautiful Fire Opal ring. I had been looking for one for awhile. They had three and they were all beautiful and all different. The one I picked just seemed to actually pick me! I love to look at the beautiful fire in it. It is very simple yet beautiful.
