Written by Marie Guerriero on 1/5/2009 Moonstone...Goddess Energy Abounds............ Moonstone is one of my very favorite stones. It is absolutely beautiful! There are moonstones that are cats eye, rainbow, peach, blue and I have just discovered that there are also dyed moonstones. No matter what their color is I like them ALL! Moonstones have a balancing and calming energy. They are a stone of reflection and introspection. Though they are usually thought of as a feminine stone they are also worn by many men. They help to maintain the feminine aspects, as we each share both masculine and feminine attributes. The lunar aspects of moonstone always represent the Goddess to me. Some of my rings worn in ritual are moonstone for that reason. I tend to wear them during the esbats. Moonstone is good for clearing away negativity and balancing the chakras. It is also a stone of spiritual well being. It enhances compassion and nurturing. It is also a stone that enhances intuition. I have also known many readers who wear moonstones which may add to their psychic abilities. Moonstone is associated with the astrological signs of Cancer, Libra and Scorpio.
